Dr Geoffrey Regester is the Co-founder and Executive Director of Biologystics Pty Ltd.

He is a Registered Project Manager with outstanding credentials as a scientist and manager in the bioscience industry.

His career highlights, to date, include work as:

• Research Fellow, the Cooperative Research Centre for Tissue Growth and Repair, managing a project investigating how bioactive proteins could be extracted from cheese whey, for applications in the biotechnology industry.
• Research Scientist and Project Leader, CSIRO Division of Food Science and Technology, managing projects funded by industry and DRDC (Dairy Research and Development Corporation) grants, with a focus on bioactives in milk.
• Programme Leader, Child Health Research Institute, Adelaide Women’s and Children’s Hospital, managing a team of 15 and a multi-million dollar research budget.
• Manufacturing Manager, Pharmaceutical Development, GroPep Limited, managing the company’s pharmaceutical production portfolio.
• Management of successful regulatory submissions through the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA) and Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA).
• Principal Project Manager, GroPep Limited, managing commercially targeted R&D, to support a biotherapeutics product development pipeline.

Dr Regester is a Registered Project Manager (RPM) with the Australian Institute of Project Management. He has a PhD from Deakin University, Melbourne. His thesis was: “Processing Factors Affecting Whey Protein Functionality”.

Dr Regester’s papers have been published in numerous international journals. He has contributed to books in the field of bioactive proteins and has presented at national and international conferences.
